CCD-Free Peanut Components

Figure 1: All samples were tested using CCD-free peanut components and nineteen of the ImmunoCAP positive samples exhibited a change in reactivity in the presence of a CCD inhibitor due to reactivity to the ImmunoCAP solid phase rather than any interaction with the proteins themselves, thereby creating false positive results (2).
